Over Worked small gutters
Challenge
Customer: A homeowner was experiencing persistent water overflow issues due to an undersized 5" gutter system and a small 2x3 downspout. Heavy rainfall overwhelmed the system, causing water to pour over the gutters, damaging the home's exterior and potentially leading to foundation problems.
Problem: Inadequate gutter and downspout size couldn't handle heavy rainfall, resulting in water damage and potential structural issues.
Solution
Solution: We transformed the gutter system by upgrading to a larger 6" gutter and installing a 3x4 downspout to significantly increase water capacity. To prevent future clogs and maintain optimal performance, we added Gutter Helmet, a durable and effective gutter guard.
Result: The homeowner now has a reliable and efficient gutter system that can handle heavy rainfall without issues. The Gutter Helmet protects against debris, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and ensuring long-lasting performance. The homeowner can enjoy peace of mind knowing their home is protected from water damage.
