Photo Album: Enhancing OSB Decking and Attic Ventilation For Home Efficiency in South Elgin, IL

The homeowners wanted to install a new entire OSB deck. The upgrade provided a more stable and durable surface, enhancing its longevity and performance. We had added an edge vent to the roof to address the lack of ventilation of the attic of their home. The edge vent facilitates better airflow, preventing moisture buildup and reducing the risk of harmful growth in their home.   Additionally, a new ridge vent was installed that works in conjunction with the edge vent to create a continuous flow of air through the attic.   The improvement of the ventilation helps regulate the attic temperature and prolonging the life of the roof and improve the home’s energy efficiency.
