The customer was in need for a solution to their problematic deck. They had a painted wood plywood deck above a finished room which was prone to leaks. They wanted a functional outdoor deck space and to prevent water damage to the room below.
To address these issues, we removed the old wood decking and re-framed the deck joists to improve its structure. We then installed a 3/4" thick osb board as the solid base. After that we covered the deck with the 60 mil rubber roof to ensure its waterproofing. Next we added new Regal railing in bronze. Finally, to protect the rubber roof, we covered it with dark outdoor grass carpeting that provides a durable and visually pleasing appearance for the homeowner.
The homeowner cherishes their deck, but has seen it succumb to time and wear, they want to restore its beauty and functionality so that they can enjoy their outdoor space.
When they had reached out to us, we inspected their existing deck frame and we had focused on resurfacing. We had suggested on using pressure-treated lumber, a cost-effect and durable choice to maximize value.
Understanding the desire for both safety and style, we had suggested constructing a sturdy railing using treated lumber for a cohesive look while incorporating round aluminum spindles to add a modern touch. The combination provided the safety and aesthetics the homeowner wanted without exceeding their budget.
The renovation and transformation was completed. The new deck surface deck enhances the longevity for the invitation to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
The homeowner was thrilled with the final result of this project. They now have a beautiful and functional deck. They were also impressed by our installation team that delivered exceptional work and value, exceeding their expectations by staying true to their budget and creating a fresh new space they can cherish for years to come.
Add a 12x20 treated lumber deck to the backyard
A home owned by a mother and daughter had expressed the desire to expand their deck. Our project began with removing the old 12x12 deck to install a new 12x16 deck. For the framing, we treated it with lumber. The deck's surface was finished with beautiful cedar boards. We added 4x4 cedar posts and rails with black round aluminum spindles. We then moved the stairs from beside the house to the center of the deck for better access into the yard. Additionally, we changed the railing posts from 36" to 84" high and capped them. This allowed for the customers to hang lights from the taller posts to enhance the appearance of their outdoor space.
Infinity Home Improvement replaced the deck in the front and the back of the home with Garapa grey decking and White Regal railings
